○Purpose the Seminar:
In the globalized society these days, people’s behavioral patterns and ethics/value norms are changing dramatically along with the changes in people’s living situations, living environments, and international relations.
Due to these changes, for example, progress of the sharing economy might be expected to accelerate changes in the fundamentals of corporate organizations and businesses in societies and economies.
In order to systematically foresee the macroscopic social changes, various stakeholders in different cultures, industrial sectors and countries should conduct foresight efforts for future societal issues in an open form.
At this seminar, NISTEP invites Dr. Tim Jones, who has established and operates the Future Agenda and has much experience in conducting a platform for foresight with open multi-stakeholders to facilitate foresight in public institutions, companies, universities, etc., practical methodologies to obtain signs of societal changes will be presented.
