Currently , NISTEP publicizes its our reports according to characteristics as follows:

1. NISTEP REPORT

Tentative plan for policy, research theses or results of surveys /analysis which should be published under auspices of NISTEP

2. POLICY STUDY

Tentative plan published as the view of a researcher or research team which is a result of research, survey/analysis or other, or report concerning a new concept, methodology or other for the analysis or formation of policy which is published from the theoretical and systematic viewpoint

3. RESEARCH MATERIAL

Materials gathered and rearranged as a result of research, survey/analysis or other which is published

4. DISCUSSION PAPER

Result of research, survey or analysis published as a view of a researcher or research team which is aiming to hear views from outside NISTEP

5. Science and Technology Trends

Monthly publication by Science and Technology Foresight Center, covering key trends and future direction of S&T, which is also widely available through NISTEP website

NISTEP News and Annual Report

NISTEP publishes and distributes the NISTEP News(monthly in Japanese) and the Annual Report for dissemination of the activities.

Dissemination of Research

It is important to make research findings readily accessible to a broad spectrum of users when they need it. Toward this end, NISTEP has established the NISTEP Website.(http://www.nistep.go.jp). Through this Internet Website, NISTEP provides users access to the results of its research and analyses. This Website also provides links to other national institutes and other Japanese and foreign research organizations.
